This close combination creates a perfect symbiosis.

The company offers over 250 designs made from innovative refined polyester fabrics from the collections.

SUNVAS SNC, SUNSILK SNC, PERLA, PERLA FR, +37, OCEAN, and VUSCREEN.

The fabrics manufactured by SWELA are made of modified polyester. This means that, thanks to a unique process created and patented by SCHMITZ-WERKE, the technical values are modified and materialized into a fabric with excellent properties. In the production of SWELA collections, a filament yarn is used, which is very smooth and therefore demonstrates the best values in its technical qualifications.

Awning fabrics are technical textiles that are not only functional but also decorative. They are high-quality products that meet strict technical requirements. Throughout all production processes, extensive laboratory tests are carried out. The requirements for impermeability, stiffness, water and dirt repellency, tear and break resistance, color fastness, and many other characteristics are determined and measured for each fabric, all of which are guaranteed by the manufacturer.

SWELA collections with darker shades offer 100% UV protection, while lighter shades offer 97% UV protection. VUSCREEN is part of the collections from the German brand but stands out from the others not only for being micro-perforated but also for its manufacturing method. This fabric is characterized by its outstanding properties, particularly in terms of shading and heat reflection. This is achieved through small aluminum particles embedded in the yarn.

The fabric does not contain PVC and is made from 100% high-tech polyester. All SWELA awning fabrics achieve the highest possible sun protection factor for textiles, UPF 50+, and feature the SNC self-cleaning effect. According to calculations, fabrics with UPF 50+ allow for sun exposure up to fifty times longer, taking into account the skin’s individual self-protection time without suffering from sunburn. The color fastness and weather resistance characteristics according to ISO 1050 802 and ISO 104 802 are the highest with ratings of 7–8. All SWELA fabrics are tested and certified with the SELF CLEANING – INSPIRED BY NATURE seal by the internationally recognized independent institute ITV DENKENDORF – INSTITUT FÜR TEXTIL – UND VERFAHRENSTECHNIK. By purchasing an awning with fabric from the SWELA collections, you are guaranteed to enjoy a high-quality product with numerous awards.

Therefore, the best OUTDOOR yarn (yarn for the outdoors) is used: mass-dyed acrylic, which is extremely weather-resistant and dyed all the way to the last thread!! CBA goes even further: the mass-dyed branded acrylic used as filament fiber provides an incredible effect on the fabric for the awning. With the ELEMENTS, LUMERA, and LUMERA 3D collections, SATTLER offers a wide selection of designs. It is the first manufacturer to introduce a compact awning fabric with a tactile structure to the market.

For the LUMERA 3D fabrics, not only is the CBA bright fiber used in the weft, as is the case with LUMERA, but it is also combined with textured continuous threads in the warp. This results in a unique feel and an attractive appearance of the fabric. The collections for privacy protection and glare reduction are also available. The TWILIGHT range is a PVC-free solution through the use of color as an element, making every building emotionally charged, bringing architecture to life. The high quality of these products is enhanced by metallic particles, making this fabric suitable for a variety of applications.

The TWILIGHT fabrics prevent glare while still allowing light to enter the rooms. An ideal combination for users! Sunlight is synonymous with life and plays an important role in this collection. After all, what matters most is health and well-being. The series that not only stands out with its attractive colors and shiny surface is REFLECT. WAREMA

WAREMA

The company WAREMA, founded in 1955 in Germany by Hans-Wilhelm Renkhoff, specializes in solar protection systems. Today, as the WAREMA GROUP, it has steadily increased its presence in the global market, with more than 15 subsidiaries across Germany.

It has become a leader in natural light management. WAREMA uses three types of fabrics in its high-end exterior solar protection systems. Acrylics with a fluorocarbon-based impregnation that helps water wash away dirt particles. Additionally, it offers ALL WEATHER variants, which are virtually waterproof, REFLECT, resistant to UV rays, and PERFORA, which improves visibility and reduces heat buildup and the risk of water bag formation on the fabric. The new collection of LUMERA acrylic fabrics is designed so that heat is absorbed before the yarn is spun, ensuring that the heat permeates the entire fabric.

This results in a smoother surface than normal acrylic and prevents the fabric from losing its color due to wear. This fabric is part of WAREMA’s BRILLIANT collection, made with the innovative CBA – CLEAN BRILLIANT ACRYLIC fiber. The outdoor textile collections presented by the German brand are not only visually appealing. In addition to the over 300 colors and designs available, many other positive features make WAREMA’s fabrics for awnings particularly attractive. All fabrics are certified by OKO-TEX STANDARD 100 as environmentally friendly products and have won numerous global awards.

MHZ–Hachtel

The company MHZ “MECHANICAL Hachtel ZUG” was founded in 1930 by WILHELM Hachtel and ADOLF STABLER in Germany. Today, the brand has become a technological center for the high-quality decoration and solar protection industry for both exterior and interior applications. The company has subsidiaries in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Benelux, the Czech Republic, and almost all of Europe.

The company’s innovative product range includes vertical blinds, pleated blinds, awnings, curtains, and many other complete multifunctional systems. The outdoor solar protection textiles offered by MHZ Hachtel are not only of superior quality but are also innovative products that have been rigorously tested in laboratories, following strict controls.

One of the textile collections for vertical systems offered is the TEMPOTEST STARSCREEN series. It is a unique fabric due to its technical qualities. Without a PVC coating, it has a pleasant touch. Combined with its dimensions, it makes it perfect in appearance and particularly suitable for the world of architecture and interior design. TEMPOTEST STARSCREEN fabrics benefit from DUPONT TEFLON. This nanometric particle surface treatment is an incomparable innovation. For the production of this fabric, a finish is used that creates a molecular barrier around each fiber, providing a self-cleaning system with double-action protection. During the production process, the product is immersed in a finish bath dominated by TEFLON EXTREME as a micrometric emission. This creates a strong bond with the fiber during the fabric’s polymerization phase, forming an invisible barrier. This method creates a highly repellent component. The nano-scale barrier helps water and rain wash away dirt.

Additionally, MHZ Hachtel launches the LUMERA 3D SURFACE collection by SATTLER. Made from acrylic fabric and selected with 66 percent CBA–CLEAN BRILLIANT ACRYLIC fiber and 33 percent acrylic fiber. This range features the brightest thread, making it easier to remove dirt and keeping the fabric colors vivid over long periods. LUMERA 3D SURFACE transforms the textile world into three-dimensional shades. The CBA fiber is interwoven with textured disLUMERA 3D SURFACE continuous fibers in the manufacturing process. As a result, it has a very distinctive touch and appearance. The striking effects caused by light influence are the most eye-catching feature of this fabric.

The quality of LUMERA 3D SURFACE is achieved thanks to innovations and the high percentage of CBA fiber. The textile collections offered by MHZ Hachtel are selected from materials that are far from the ordinary and can achieve an excellent result of up to 99 percent sun protection. The warranty is certified by independent research institutes, and the LASTING.EXCELLENT. BESPOKE approval seal confirms the quality of MHZ Hachtel products.

GÜTERMANN

GÜTERMANN is a German brand with 150 years of history, passed down through generations and continuously developing multiple technical innovations across the wide range of products it offers today.

GÜTERMANN threads meet every requirement. It is a clear leader among thread manufacturers. Its unique philosophy is: “The name GÜTERMANN commits to offering the best quality, service, sustainability, and constant innovation.” The company offers the widest high-level range of threads for the textile industry. The products launched have excellent final finishes and high sewability performance. Wind and weather conditions pose a significant challenge for seam resistance. Durability and strength are essential characteristics in outdoor products. The importance of threads in the manufacturing of awnings becomes apparent when wind shows its full force, and the sun shines brightly. With SOLBOND and CALORA UV threads, GÜTERMANN guarantees sewing in any weather conditions.

SOLBOND is a multifilament thread with multiple twists. It is made of continuous polyester filaments with a high-quality bonding. This thread has exceptional sewability, excellent colorfastness, and high resistance to friction and abrasion, as well as resistance to UV radiation and atmospheric conditions that challenge any type of climate.

CALORA UV also features multiple twisting and is dyed with special dyes and a particular finishing method. The use of high-tenacity filaments ensures resistance, even in continuous wear of the seam. The thread has no knots, despite its extensive length.

Both SOLBOND and CALORA UV impress with their colorfastness, break resistance, and elongation coefficient. GÜTERMANN sets itself apart from others by subjecting all of its products to strict tests under UV rays and seawater, collaborating with the renowned Institute for Textile Technology and Processing of DENKENDORF–INSTITUT FÜR TEXTIL–UNDVERFAHRENSTECHNIK–ITV. The test exposed filament spools and fabric samples to a simulated Mediterranean climate for a period of 5 years. The results demonstrate that GÜTERMANN sewing threads, after intense exposure to seawater and UV radiation, show significantly better resistance and colorfastness than other high-quality products with similar characteristics. This guarantees all of the manufacturer’s products.
